We need the Purple Line
Maybe we can repurpose the Purple Line so it runs from the future Eden Prairie Green Line station to Chanhassen, in honor of the late Prince!

While technically tomorrow does have rain, hopefully the rain will clear by then.

This is probably the rainiest June I've seen in a long time.

not to mention if you owe taxes the following year, the IRS may penalize you 😞. They prefer they owe us rather than you

This comes at a fascinating time, as another Star Alliance member Lufthansa is (temporarily, due to lack of planes) discontinuing direct flights to Minneapolis.

Reminds me of the scene: "Hello, We'd like you to have this flower on behalf of the Church of Religious Consciousness"

It's the Stone Arch Bridge because of the angle. If you see the camera, the bridge points towards City Hall. Also, immediately to the left of the bridge in the shot are the mill ruins.

What fascinates me is how much has changed.

No IDS or Capella, so Foshay and the City Hall stood tall here.

The very first scene starts around Dinkytown as the train goes under 35W and onto the Stone Arch Bridge. That whole line went away in 1978 as well as the station it served (now the Fed)

Meanwhile, the only functional train in Maplewood is the kiddie train in the mall

My understanding is this is temporary, because Lufthansa doesn't have enough planes. They're outsourcing to a subsidiary. So it's still technically Lufthansa

Lufthansa Drops Minneapolis, Handing Frankfurt Route to Discover Airlines
Less than a year after starting service, German carrier Lufthansa will stop flying to Minneapolis next spring, ceding the route to a subsidiary instead.
