Lover of retro gaming. I mostly talk about retro games and game development.
It's not a bug, it's a feature!

I'm pretty sure you get points just for trying.

Thank you!

My game is going to take a while and it's 100% solo but I'd love to join to meet other devs!

Excessive, borderline dangerous amounts of caffeine.

There's an old proverb I remember at times like that: “Fall down seven times, stand up eight.”

If we're honest, most Day 1 sequels could just be "A Slightly Less Quiet Place"

I find it therapeutic to only refer to Netanyahu as "Bibi".

Bibi has been charged with war crimes.

"Do you wish me a good morning, or mean that it is a good morning whether I want it or not?" is all that comes to mind.

Not trying to flex on you, but I have 8 followers now and only 7 of them are family.

This is the dream for all of us with a giant box of cords from ages gone by we refuse to let go.

jinx - /jiNGks/ - noun. A person or thing that brings bad luck. Example: "Laimu said 'Two builds in a row my computer has booted with everything working as intended and everything detected correctly'"

I want to make the joke "lower your expectations" but honestly it's been pretty good for me so far. I would suggest you just curate your feed early, to weed out any potential nonsense.

I have a project working in RPG Maker now, and I started using it way back in high school (20 years ago). Some things are just good and stay good.

I felt like to be truly authentic, there needed to be disorganized cables in the back, and a dark smudge on the monitor from that stupid energy sticker you tried to get off but never fully removed.

I personally think there's room for honoring something in between these two. A lot of the great game mechanics and other elements from older games have become the norm, but as long as you're treating those things with respect and trying to bring something new to the party, you're in a good place.
