I'm probably being too sensitive but I really hate when people say stuff like "I don't like French people" or "French people are so awful" etc. And it's worse because it's so mainstream to hate the French 😞

Just read this story about how an eating disorder chat helpline fired its employees and replaced them with a chatbot that then proceeded to give users with eating disorders advice on how to lose weight 💀

I’m so exhausted by people who view America (&/or the West as a whole) as an all-evil entity with nothing except genocide and imperialism as its legacy. How close-minded do you have to be to have that worldview. It’s so unnecessarily black and white 😒

Working on developing my marketable skills while I’m searching for a a job has made me realize I’m right near the bottom of the Dunning Kruger curve on every single thing that would be useful to me

I understand this but I *personally* (personally!!) prefer paying a $20 monthly subscription fee here and there as needed for using it vs paying $600 up front for software I might not use much and that will become obsolete in a few years
