I want to control 25 LEDs (individual, preferably not buying a strip). Is there an easier way than connecting them to 25 pins on a Pico? Was thinking about wiring up some AND gates but that feels complicated.

Check out my first instructable, where I put together a 3d printed and laser cut piano with CircuitPythonand a Pico 2!

Of course, huge shoutout to the BC Hatchery and everyone making @gallaugher.bsky.social Physical Computing class work.

@gallaugher.bsky.social #BuiltWithProfG A little late on this week’s post, but I’ve been wiring up an amplifier and a speaker. Had to make my own low pass filter with some wiring! Now some hand-soldered buttons to control what gets played.

@gallaugher.bsky.social #BuiltWithProfG Drew and I have been ordering some new parts to play with—here is a speaker, a Pico 2, and an amplifier all wired up! (Needs a lot of soldering—I have to hold some of the pins together)

@gallaugher.bsky.social #BuiltWithProfG decided my bluefruit was getting cold in this weather, so I 3d printed it a nice container. Also, sound and volume control with buttons!

@gallaugher.bsky.social learning to get random with adafruit! My bluefruit is now an agent of (psuedo-random) chaos. #BuiltWithProfG

@gallaugher.bsky.social #BuiltWithProfG Wired up the light tough buttons we soldered last class and made a little light show.

@gallaugher.bsky.social a little intra-week project--made a morse code translator/communicator on our bluefruits! Using buttons, time, and some lists. #BuiltWithProfG

@gallaugher.bsky.social #BuiltWithProfG used some for loops to create a quick water bottle timer to remember to stay hydrated while working 👍
