Veilguard has been the only thing giving me any spark of joy since my husband's passing. it was his last gift to me. It has been a comfort, an escape, and has helped me work through some grief. It will always be immeasurably dear to my heart. Plus ITS A TOTALLY BRILLIANT GAME

Marielle definitely doesn't at first, but she begins to become open to the possibility. By the end of Trespasser and having her personal beliefs shaken, she takes some comfort in Cullen's faith in Andraste and the Maker. She's never 100% comfortable believing she was Chosen, though.

Marielle chose the help of the templars to seal the breach, but it wasn't because she was anti-mage. She just felt that the power to disrupt magic would be more useful since the breach was magical in origin.
