perhaps it's about being more like Russia, where these things like bribes are "normal" and corruption is just daily life. These pardons encourage others to do the same.

"Lie, cheat and steal and i'll help you get away with it!" should have been a whole campaign slogan.

personally I am not a fan.

I feel guilty for not feeding them, and as I sit here thinking about it, I was wondering if this is what God feels like when man rages against him.

Good morning, wishing you a very Well Wednesday.

I listened as he complained for over 15 minutes, a wreee-wreee on repeat as he glared at me.

A day later, I found a whole peanut planted in the remains of my sunflowers. As if to demonstrate their menu preference. (i had served up wild and sunflower seed, but the peanuts were by far the favorite)

I investigated. I researched. And then, later that day, I heard an angry chatter from the patio.

It was the biggest squirrel that had ever come, and it was hanging upside down on the corner column and HE was holding an enormous walnut in his mouth, and cursing up a storm.

He sounded mad!

Over the summer I chose to grow sunflowers in the outdoor planters. They were doing well at over a foot tall when one day, I came home to a horrifying scene.

Every single sunflower, it seemed, had been mowed down - but by what?! No other people had access, it was as if a weedwacker had been used.

Then came House Finch Disease in the spring :( we lost one poor bird right on the patio and it was tragic. we disinfected and pulled the feeders, and the critters were disappointed, but they had to make do. It was for the best. Still, they were used to visiting daily. I could see the disappointment.

I don't usually do this but WE LOVE YOU OBAMA FAM, everyone i know would vote for a third term if you're willing to meme that hard for America, even if a third term is a stupid idea and you'd probably resign on principle, leaving your hypothetical running VP to step up and - ooh

After reading this lengthy diatribe about you explaining that your troubles here were indeed a skill issue, I begin to question your claim that you "managed" to raise children without google. Let me talk to your wife. Has she read this?
December 9, 2025 at 5:50 PM
When you managed to raise your children, did you rely at all on books, your community resources, neighbors and friends?

My concern is parental reliance on AI will replace important social roots.

Let me know if you have any additional thoughts.
December 9, 2025 at 5:42 PM
Oh okay, so I really hate the question because his responses touch on a truth:

Ask any mom how many times they have googled for parenting advice.

For the short-term, it seems helpful. But for the long term on a large scale, motherhood guided by AI will have detrimental consequences, imo.
