Yes the comments about the business are mainly from people who haven't been in a WHSmith for ages imo there's something to be said for a business actually following a clear strategy

Anyone who went Xmas shopping in December either on line or in real life shops will be shaking their heads at all of this. I haven't seen the West End as busy in years and nearly all the grocers have turned in great numbers.

And it's not businesses job to say who should pay the tax but without business growth all the plans are scuppered.

They do seem to have taken some shops I hear - totally agree about DIY on line but it creates a great sub brand in the range and an opp for new space too

I shall need to work my way around this I think !
