The letter I wrote to @schumer.senate.gov , cc: @kirstengillibrand.bsky.social I have never been more ashamed of our so-called leadership nor have I felt deeper despair. But I, unlike them, will continue to fight.

Ha! Yes, Mr. API, and if there's any justice in the world there will be many more "punitive fees" for ALL fossil fuel companies. Thank you to @govkathleenhochul.bsky.social for signing the NY Climate Superfund into law

This a million times. When I waited tables and bartended I made $3 and $5/hr respectively. This was 20 yrs ago, but still. And that work is HARD work. I always treated people w respect and tried my best, but like anyone, I had bad days and yeah, I made mistakes. Tipping me 10% didn't change that!

ALSO this really hurts creatives. Artists, writers, musicians people who need to work some shitty 9-5 that they wouldn't otherwise have to work because they need the health insurance
