It got cold overnight with an air temperature in the low 50s. The river cooled slightly to 67.3F (19.6) and that brought 163 manatees in. The only adoptee however was Annie with her little calf. Should be more in the coming days!

Latest Manatee Update from Blue Spring! Beautiful day. There were only 66 manatees for roll call and none were SMC adoptees. The warming river temp was 66.7F (19.3C). We saw another manatee that rarely shows up at BSSP yesterday, Numa (not an adoptee.)
