It's actually a really interesting process! The science behind our DNA is incredibly complex 😁

Following conception, the resulting embryo begins to produce precursor tissues for ovaries, the uterus, etc. and will continue until later in the embryogenic process when genes on the Y chromosome (if present) start to express. DNA itself is just a code that our bodies interpret to produce proteins.

Or measles...which has the nasty little ability to completely wipe the immune system's memory of who the "bad guys" are, leaving anyone who is infected extremely vulnerable afterwards!
