Term officials today need to learn that is commonly understood by others:
False dichotomy: presenting only 2 options when many more exist

That doesn't distract from what is so incredibly right about her. I still think she is our very best right now. We need her leadership more than ever.

This is one of the few places I differ from AOC. Her position on "working" people. At least on the semantics. Disabled, sick, retired people, & yes even those who have enough they don't need to work don't fit into that. The right to freedom & basic needs belongs to all civilized people.

Don't stake your confidence in any scotus decision. Even if it were a progressive scotus. The power of precedent is gone now. That means they'll be flippin' & a floppin' & a flip, flop, flip.

1st off change the semantics here. We know it's Republicans that aren't negotiable. It was always their shutdown. 8 democrats didn't "give up the shutdown" they gave up on American democracy by voting for a fascist agenda.

In the end that will translate into cutting funding for even non-hezbollah defenses. A trxmp regime will be only interested in weakening even Hezbollah's internal enemies to make them vulnerable to Israel. I can't say it enough no agency in the US answerable to the WH can be trusted.

Actually its McConnell who brought this on. He thinks all THC content should be 0%(even though that's not scientificly possible with the industrial hemp being whined about). Basically, McConnell wants to ban weed.

Congress disproportionately represents Christianity & Judaism.
• 2% of Americans are Jewish yet they get 35(6.5% of) seats in Congress.
• 62% of Americans are Christian. They enjoy a 461 seat cohort(87% majority) in Congress.
Should we be surprised when they're disproportionate on the issues?

Fetterman you don't care about government at all because you abandoned our government long before the shutdown. Fascist sympathizer.

You won't get anything meaningful out of her. It's a waste of time for both parties to listen to Maxwell. She's compromised by her sentence & will say anything to get out of it. Not a good source. That bird has flown.

Democrats have 24 state governors now. The most powerful states in the US are run by Democrats. Don't squander that. It's a huge advantage & they have it for a whole year. It's more than enough to undermine the fascism. You have enough power to derail the fascism or will it be 24 thumbs up 24 asses?

There's still more to squander. Democrats gained another Governorship. They now have 24 state governors. The most powerful states in the US are run by democratic governors. Why aren't they doing more? They have this advantage for a year. More than enough to undermine this fascist agenda. Use it!

It may not have been but he was aware of it before we were. He knew the spineless 8 were going to do this. He cannot be leader of a Senate minority that folds when things are finally starting to go well. Democrats were gaining the advantage. Why now?

I think Schumer & all 8 Senators that folded to the fascist agenda(not just "the shutdown") should be forced out of office now. They shouldn't get 1 more year to fk more things up. Make... them... leave... NOW!!!!

I'm 100% behind it. She needs a promotion. Consistent with her policy positions, has tons of energy, keeps up with events, interacts with all classes of people, never stops learning, & reads the bills. Always improving & takes criticism well. She knows where to stand. That is leadership.

He still goes along with some of his BS though because of Putler. One day this war will end. If it doesn't involve the turning over of Crimea & any missing gas & oil assets/profits that Putler illegally mined back to Ukraine. This doesn't work out for Russia long term.

Government agencies under trxmp can't make trustworthy statements. Their just a mouthpiece. If they're not allowed to contradict donOLD then they can't be trusted to provide accurate results of any kind. No federal agency deserves to be amplified if it's not operating independently & professionally.

Exactly. People need both to live. Not one or the other. BOTH. Without food people get sick with malnutrition. Without healthcare people get sick, never get better, & die much younger than they should.

The one where they also fail to point out the plan to ban caffeine from SNAP programs. Some people need it to offset drowsiness medications.

I don't know if that's 100% true. A few aren't seeking re-election but I agree those chicken out like this are nearly always doing it out of political convenience at a time that it carries little political risk for them personally. Congress has become the home of the not-at-all brave.

It doesn't matter if they do. They didn't promise to extend the subsidies. Thats like saying I'll guaranteed tell you no in December.
