We were invited to give a West Nose Creek tour for the area’s teachers and administrators with the CBE. Lucked out to have @klaszus.bsky.social from @sprawlcalgary.bsky.social bring his mobile printing press to give the groups a print of the 1943 picture of the Beddington Erratic. #SaveNoseCreek

IT'S WHITE SUCKER SPAWNING SEASON! We were lucky enough to have Freshwater Conservation Canada on our Jane's Walk last week. They are spawning now until the long weekend. Grab some polarized sunglasses and you could see them clearly in the creek. #SaveNoseCreek #SNCfish #yyc #Airdrie #Balzac #abpoli

Today was one of the biggest tours we’ve ever done! A mix of people from all over Calgary and area joined our #JanesWalkYYC. We toured the West Nose Creek Valley and talked about Fish, Erratics, Watershed, and even Actor Paul Newman! Thanks to everyone who came out and participated! #SaveNoseCreek

SLITHERING SATURDAY: The Plains Garter Snake is out enjoying the warmer weather! Watch for them in the Nose Creek Coulees. They are "live bearing" snakes, they don’t lay eggs. They can also swim to escape predators. #SaveNoseCreek #SNCwildlife #Snakes
