Season 3 was great. People I know that aren't into fantasy have been talking about it. I was so excited about what was coming next. Prime is becoming a streaming service I may be able to do without. It no longer feels like the same company that swooped in to save The Expanse.

Obsidian has made running Halls of Arden Vul a lot easier. It's a lot of work, but the module is expensive enough that I plan to run it more than once, and the data is reusable.

These days, everything is expensive AND it all has to be replaced all the time.

I was unsure about bluesky until I discovered it was a safe harbor for us 10-siders. No more bullying from the 6-siders and all of their “but we also come with board games” rhetoric.

I respect the spirit in which this skeet was delivered. 😉

@megueyb.bsky.social. The writing is straight-forward, the use of authorial voice sets the mood, and the bulk of it feels like a system-agnostic primer for GMs. Most of the advice offered would improve your ability to run any TTRPG.

Neat! I love exploring religion in fantasy worlds. Many stick to a few standard setups. Religion can be such an integral part of society, for better or worse, and can drive the drama in a relatable but different way for readers/players. This looks very interesting!

Seveneves by Neal Stephenson. It’s a hard-science book for the most part and has a few characters that are fictional analogs for real-world public figures.
