under what basis could the DOJ possibly withhold/redact info about Dershowitz? I read the Epstein Transparency Act again and none of the permitted withholding categories seem to fit, unless Dersh is presently under federal investigation...

It's sure a good sign that every positive review is written by a known anti-trans activist, several of whom do not appear to have ever treated trans patients, while the negative reviews are written by, uh, the American Psychiatric Association, and researchers who actually know how peer review works

The "reply" to the APA's review is overlong and tries very hard to hide behind citations and sciency jargon, but really all it says is "we did consider those studies, they're listed in the appendix! and we know what confirmation bias is!"

& they rationalize it by arguing that trans people are not "real", that trans identity is not a legitimate way to relate to the world - but the denial of legitimacy is a common refrain even in ethnic genocides - "we are the true [X], you are only imitators/usurpers/invaders"...
