☆ They all went over the rainbow bridge long ago but to mention some; Nemi, Fee, Pepper, Snickers, Josy, Lilou, Ivy... All in all I had 18 rats over the years, always at least 4 at a time.

Hm, they probably don't smell very nice, but there's worse.
Many animals - dogs for example - eat their own sh... you know. No one finds dogs gross.
Rats smell a bit like vanilla or honey when they're in a clean environment☺️

But why are they gross? Cause of eating dead animals? They have no choice, it's theire nature. People eating meat are not considered gross when they do exactly the same. The only difference are 10min in a pot and some spices.
