Also I am still thinking about Guillermo Del Toro's Frankenstein. I still don't have the right words to talk about it at length (all positive) but the day after I got home from the cinema I started this art piece of The Creature. Such a stunning and earnest film. I hope I can finish this soon.

Hoping that the ADHD meds help when I finally get them because I'm not fond of my current art process being: get close to finishing a piece-brain abandons it-makes it feel like torture to finish it. My poor Emmrich and Solas WIPs have been sat over a year alongside so much of my unfinished work :^{

Current WIPs I'm still considering. Getting reacquainted with linework heavy style has been scary, difficult but fun. But I don't think I can ever let go of the painterly comfort zone. These are both early sketches I may still abandon as I often do but I'm TRYING to get in the habit of sharing ✨🧡✨

WIPs. Portraits have always been my comfort zone but I've been trying to lean into colour rather than just monochrome. i can't believe it's been about 4 months between them. I started Adar in October iirc. Marc was started yesterday.

Trying to have fun, trying to enjoy creating despite everything. Reminding myself I'm ALLOWED to have fun and the things I create can be done so simply for my enjoyment and they don't have to be perfect masterpieces. My relationship with my art is an ever strained thing. But I'm trying.

The JoJo obsession is back in full swing. Grief copium is silly little guys. And yes another OC has joined the roster, Vallis. I think they're neat I am holding them gently in my hands whilst they complain about Rohan. Have some sketches.
