And because I cannot resist a monster of the week show, we've also started The Uncanny Counter, where a team of super strong demon hunters track down evil spirits who are possessing people and feeding on the souls of anyone they murder.

This time it's the female lead who used to be a K-pop idol.

...a hot-headed police officer who's been forced out of his team for pissing off corrupt officials, and a super handsome love interest played by a K-pop idol.

Oh, and an absolutely horrifying villain, so I fully expect to once again have my heart ripped out in between wacky supernatural hijinks.

Just played my first game of Pendragon. It's nicely put together, the passions are fun, and the skill list is reasonable sized for a BRP game.

Started a new K-drama: Tomorrow. I don't think I can actually recommend this one, as while it's a supernatural drama based on Korean mythology (hence why we started watching it), its theme is suicide prevention which means the subject matter is extremely heavy.

Still stars a Kpop idol, obviously.

Once more we prepare to face the glistening buttock monster.

#RPGaDAY2025 4: Message

It's from your old friend Steve from uni. You were supposed to be meeting him tonight in the pub, but he was spending the day photographing some old amusement park.

Dangerous places, old amusement parks. Probably worth checking he's OK.

From there there was a trip to see Sergeant Pepper, a local beetle who possessed the missing herb from the blend of eleven herbs and spices that were Cock Jesus's weakness. Armed with batter grenades and gravy guns, they did battle in the chicken cathedral.

Which brings us to this week...

I'm looking for a ratfolk mini for an upcoming campaign and I'm starting to think that no mini sculptor has ever seen a rat. They all look like evil, crazed monsters with giant teeth and diseased claws.

Meanwhile...

Finally got round to finishing the bases on these two. Half of the Austen Regency Set from Morgue Miniatures. www.etsy.com/uk/listing/1...

Fate threw quite a few people into my path. I had some lovely chats with people in between browsing the stalls, including Gill, Pookie, Niamh, and quite a lot of Pauls.

Also my favourite basing supplies company, Gamer's Grass, were doing a decorate a base thing and really it would be rude not to...

New arrival from @critkituk.bsky.social

Or, my gaming personality in two zines.

Concerns about this encounter somewhat tempered as we admire its glistening buttocks.

I made a start on these Regency minis from Morgue Miniatures. Unfortunately space in the travel box was limited and Miss Byter had to remain at home, but the other three got into their base coats very quickly and easily. I'm looking forward to washes and highlights.

Next batch of Onna-Bugeisha from @badsquiddogames.bsky.social. These ladies are filling in for all kinds of random monsters in our Tian Xia campaign.

Just finished running The Sinking Tower for Dragonbane, where the team completed it with 2 minutes to spare, much to the surprise of all of us, and have gone straight to the top of the #RaspyRaven leader board.

Other than Firefly, obviously...

Fortunately the Lockwood & Co. book series actually did finish, and is an excellent read. I'd love to do an RPG based off this some time, and I have a couple of systems in mind to check out for it.

Surprise gift from past me.

Oh dear.

I have some Heroforge miniatures. They're very expensive, but if you have a 3D printer (or know someone who does) you can just buy the STL file which isn't so bad. But it's my last resort after looking for a pre-existing mini that matches what I want.

Really good for character design though.
