Luckily it was removed in the emergency room without causing damage.

This case involves a boy that had been born with 16 toes!!

The patient had a condition called Polydactyly. Polydactyly is a condition in which a person has more than 5 fingers per hand or 5 toes per foot.

Can you imagine walking on a leg like this? This is a century old femur healed after a severe fracture—without proper treatment.

The result? A fascinating (and painful) example of malunion, where the bone healed in an abnormal position.
