![On the bright side, I was chauffeured and got VIP check-in for this (hopefully) "mini-vacay."

This is so intensely satisfying. IDK how my garden will transplant outdoors, but this is AMAZING to me. The dark areas on the leaves? Remnants of the seeds I planted. I’ve seen them on the other plants, but I think it’s most recognizable on these sugar baby watermelon seedlings.

He didn’t object to wearing his hat today. Normally he just takes them off. I guess at 26° willfulness gives way to conserving heat. It’s hilarious to me because the car was warm when I put him in. Just a little taste of it was enough. 😂
