Proof not all of Canada is frozen tundra this time of year. Between them and the deer they enjoy the grass of the rainy season. Yes they are likely the results of a released pet into the wild at one point, same as our lizard infiltration.

After 20+ years I got one of these pattern keepers for Christmas. Lots of yarn already so little tools are nice. Took a break from knitting to crochet a pot and succulents.

First time hand building mugs. I did the pumpkin orange and my daughter the leaf one at Halloween and they survived all the steps. It was a lot of fun.

Fred is feeling festive in his new toque. Yes he has a seasonal wardrobe. He was my study buddy in nursing school and I used to hang IV bags on him to practice my drip rate.

Took a break from 2nd sock to make slippers for myself. Very quick pattern on chunky. One takes me 2 hours on average.

FIL getting his own socks since he is rumored to wear a pair of mine that got left behind. Bless him for sharing my shoe size. My family are giants (several are in the 7' range) so huge feet.

Restocking with some early gift money from my in-laws. Some of this is going back out as gifts now that I have neutrals for colorwork. The process is my gift of entertainment. Woodland Loafers in the bulky red for me though.

Both slightly darker shades in person. Turtleneck buttons or folds down open. I omitted the buttons on these. My niece and nephew are only a month apart so I wanted them both to have one for Christmas.

Second Caelum. Green one for my nephew, this red one for my niece. Hopefully our posties get a good contract soon and Canada Post can deliver their gifts. For now it's a hallmark and pj's knitting dayas I get into the body knitting.
