As a parent, I’ve been at times stunned by other parents who are clearly in camp #3 - to the point of openly expressing disdain for other kids’ struggles, so that their kid can be declared the “winner”. Not about teaching as many kids as possible, but instead about pre-identifying the winners.

No. Being “less crazy” than the dingbat in chief isn’t enough. She still believes Jewish space lasers start forest fires, the 2020 election was stolen, school shootings are fake, govt can control the weather, and maybe 9/11 was staged.

It seemed like Steph saw these last two games as an opportunity to send a message. He was more locked in than he has been for a while.

When ours were between 8-14, we would once a month have a family "inappropriate movie night" together, to watch a "classic" that was likely age-inappropriate. It's how we introduced them to the canon of 1960s-90s films that shaped us.

Personally, I loved Connery & Lazenby. Was always "meh" about Roger Moore and Dalton, didn't care much for Brosnan. But, having read some of the books, IMO Craig is the truest portrayal of the brutality required to be a trained killer and of the insanity that comes with it.

Craig plays it that way because that's how Fleming wrote the character. You may not like it, but Craig's portrayal is more authentic to the books. E.g., Fleming has Bond take his martinis "shaken, not stirred" - precisely to demonstrate that Bond is an unsophisticated brute.

Berkeley Bowl would be your best bet if you’re in the Bay Area. They typically carry >3 dozen apple varieties

I’d wager that the culture of American elites has been profoundly broken since the 18th century. The only difference is that we now have visibility into their private conversations.

Just goes to show that we don't actually need BLS data when we can just order up a custom report on DoorDash.

Stop telegraphing that you're two steps behind. It's not a flattering look.
