Then (8-16-2013, while transforming guest bedroom/office into the Bamboo Oasis to house my panda collection) and now, 8-17-2025. All the panda memorabilia, both gifts and souvenirs from my travels to over 50 zoos on 3 continents, still make me smile, whenever I come in here to use the computer. 🥰🐼

Looking back on 10 years since the magical and joyous adventure in Middle Earth with Lord of the Ring - Red Carpet Tours! Hobbiton was definitely one of the highlights of the 2-week tour of filming locations all over New Zealand!

Juvenile green Heron hung out at Little Lake, Laurel, Maryland, for a few weeks this fall. But he was usually very well hidden in the shrubbery along the shore.
