this is contrapoints meme level scapegoating, all i saw/see is people insanely angry that they put their bodies and livelihoods on the line every day and their representatives sold them out for a promise from the wallet inspector

same thing with the rodrigo freitas lagoon, or "lagoa", in Rio. its fucking awful that its a gorgeous spot ringed by virtual highways with crazy drivers and like 3 total pedestrian crossings in its ~ 5 mi circumference. (dont even get me started on how dogshit pedestrian infra is in rio)
