It was a lovely day to gather with family, friends, & a few people I’d never met. There was karaoke, jigsaw puzzling, & trivia run by my youngest nephew.
There was also a cursed tart, but let’s not worry about that & enjoy this pic of my lavender Earl Grey layer cake with vanilla bean buttercream

One of the many elections today was for our Town Board. No Dem has held a seat in 30 years. Still don't, but my sweetie & the other candidate CRUSHED it. Closed the previous gap by over 1k votes, & increased turnout on both sides.
I love him & I like him & I am so so proud. Now, on to the next!
