It's all part of why my husband and I are heavily considering homeschooling for our kid, in addition to the fact that they're trying to classify my existence as "pornographic" essentially soft-locking us out of public schooling. I'm lucky that I have experience teaching kids as a tutor and as a rbt.

One of my old teachers from Florida that I stayed friends with (she is only a couple of years older than me, had graduated early and I was the only student that knew her actual age) just became superintendent of that district and I know she's working hardcore against regressive policies.

In a red state here (indiana), one of my teacher friends has quit for good (and they taught music, one of the more enjoyable subjects). I think my other two teacher friends are holding out to try to negate the damage going on.

I think he just might be salty that we're a happy married couple while he's getting catfished by a dude in Nigeria pretending to be an Asian lady (he's very loudly talked about his "relationship" several times)

Daddy and I reported the guy after the second time he did it. The first time, we just gave him a stern scolding about not using that word.

Even though I'm critical of voting as the end all-be-all solution (i live in a very red state so my vote literally doesn't matter, plus jerryrigging and disenfranchisement) but I still do it. I just encourage people to do more than just vote. Not voting is dumb imo cause it doesn't hurt to do.

How do you handle online scrutiny in regards to mental health? My Daddy/husband is actually 12 years younger than me and we have a healthy relationship but seeing what people say online about age gaps can really get me down sometimes.
