Colorado aurora!!

Saying goodbye to a pet is never easy, especially one who I’ve had since I was 13. I’m so thankful he (and his sister, who’s still okay) came into our lives.

He was a giant goofball and I’ll miss him so dearly 🧡. I know he’s at peace now and I’ll love Simba forever.

USGS Folks can’t be at #LPSC2025 and someone hung up a shirt with a flower as a memorial of sorts. We’re already feeling the loss of their presence and a bunch of other members of the community who can’t be here for a myriad of reasons.

Half marathon is done! And I improved my time by 7 minutes this year! Stuck with the pace group for 95% of the way too!

Facebook reminded me of my first conference presentation ever when I was an undergrad 🥹. It’s been 10 years since that meeting and now countless presentations given! This was for my summer REU work at the National Solar Observatory where I was looking at something with the interiors of sunspots 😅.

I was browsing the camping gear sale on REI's website when I saw a listing for a tiny tent. I thought, "well how tiny is tiny?"

Then I saw the product photos, this is perfection.

I died dead. This mashup of Cassandra and Mad Woman is what I needed.

I had some doubts about how this project would turn out, but so far it’s looking good! The different rounds aren’t attached yet, but it’s almost done! (Posting here since the friend this is for isn’t on here)

Picking up the half marathon training once again and got 5 miles in the books today.
