Sometimes I wonder if modern art is less about expression and more about visibility, less about depth and more about performance. Maybe that’s why so much of it feels hollow, trying to be seen rather than to say something.

For some reason, I’m often more deeply moved by works created centuries ago by long-gone masters than by what’s being made today.
Not always, but most of the time. Maybe eternity leaves a stronger echo.
