i was at the race this time last year. beautiful city, epic race, lovely people, great circuit with fantastic facilities and amenities - highly recommend it if anyone’s wondering if they should go in the future. one of the best races i’ve been to. if you’re going this year, have a blast!

over the past six months, i have made my way through all 16 of robin hobb’s ’realm of the elderlings’ books. i just finished ‘assassin’s fate’ at silly o’clock in the morning and i am absolutely bereft. what an astonishing series; my heart is somehow both broken and completely full at the same time.
