I'm in the auditorium waiting for a #uibai seminar on the legal aspects of (open) AI. For some reason the large screen projector is showing episodes of #Pingu?

Yesterday I attended the excellent PhD defense of Simen Bø, supervised by Hallgeir Sjåstad. I in turn supervised Hallgeir's master thesis. I think that (almost) makes me a PhD grandfather. #academicchatter #phddefense

Ganske kult å oppgi rappernavnet når du intervjues av #dagsrevyen. #Norsktut

We decided to do today's PhD supervision as a walk-and-talk on a hike up to #skansen. From there I continued on my own up to the #Fløyen summit, and on to #skomakerdiket. I had a hot chocolate from the restaurant in the sun while answering some emails […]

In a study published in Scandinavian Journal of Psychology today, we tested the amplitude and range of 22 Norwegian probability phrases. Our preregistered categorizations of the phrases as high/low and broad/narrow were supported by N = 537 online participants. (2/3)

I took the most direct route back down to the city, following the steep #stoltzekleiven stairs straight down to #skuteviken.

After the meeting, I headed up #munkebotn, through the valley and up to #sandvikspilen, with views of the city and the fjord.

Friday two weeks ago was the first bright, crisp winter day. I had a mid-day meeting at the business school on the other side of #Bergen. I #hiked there along the #fjellveien path.
