Having a mal-adjusted light which came off the handlebars earlier in the day and which I put back hastily (pointing up, not down) did not help. Having two Aperol spritz earlier in the day I am sure did me no favours,

swimming or three mile night walks. Beyond the physical damage, the mental damage seems even worse. The multiple factors that led up to the crash, where I was dethroned by a sandpit with a very raised wooden edge on the grounds of our childrens' elementary school swirl around my head every day.
