Tell me who you are in three #Christmas ornaments.

This is me:

I don’t really like that Target is putting out Trump ornaments.

Finally found an hour to watch the #Beatles Anthology 9! My Anthology 4 record came, I wanted to see this first. I’ve been going since 5:30 this morning. I’ve been looking forward to this for months.

I have seen the future, and know how I will die. One day, I will be opening a can of biscuits and it will pop when least expected. My heart will give out. Pop N. Fresh will be a wanted doughboy.

I am thankful for my wife! She did all this less than a week after her surgery. She didn’t want help, she just wanted to cook. This is her favorite holiday and time of the year!

If the #Lions don’t make a comeback after Jack White hypes up the crowd, something so wrong! #Detroit

Every holiday season, I have a real Sofie’s choice — What #Christmas movie should I watch to kick off the season?

Home Alone?
A Christmas Story?
Die Hard?
The Grinch?
Christmas Vacation?
Violent Night?
Santa Conquers the Martians?

It should go without saying, but the Toys R Us float at the #ThanksgivingDay parade is probably my favorite. I mean, Toys R Us! And Geoffrey as a DJ is awesome. Loved his bouncing glasses.

That would be Sssqueeze from He-Man and the Masters of the Universe!

Likewise, the 1986 #Thanksgiving Parade was also on Nov 27! Here’s a look at some of the cartoon characters who made up the line up!

In 1980, #Thanksgiving was on Nov 27! In honor of that, here’s a look at art that promoted the parade that year!

When Luke finally answers the call to adventure, we’re over 40 minutes into the movie. In most films this would happen at the 30 minute mark. It’s a longer journey to get to the end of Act One, but so much is covered with this intro to a galaxy far, far away.
November 25, 2025 at 5:51 PM
Our first look at the hero of #StarWars comes at 17 minutes into the film. I always thought the original was awkwardly paced in terms of storytelling. Lucas front-loads the movie with prologue and world building, giving us a faster paced adventure and finale. Still all in 2 hours!

Reminds me a little bit of Wilson.

If you see this, post your getaway vehicle.

When Wilford was in “The Thing”, he was 47 years old. I turned 49 earlier this year. I cannot believe that was what 47 looked like.
November 23, 2025 at 8:10 PM
Well, Target failed with this ad.

Judging from this picture, I contend that Cyndi Lauper is the feral version of Madonna.

As much as I consider myself a pop culture junkie, tonight was a first for me. After 32 years, at the age of 49, tonight I watched “The Sandlot” for the first time. I loved it! I remember when it came out, but I didn’t feel the need to see it then. Glad I saw it tonight. What a winner!

In the #80s, Mary Steenburgen cornered the market on falling in love with an out of time man. She did it in “Time After Time” and “Back to the Future 3”.

So I made something a little different for dinner. It’s chicken coated in Lays potato chip, and the other coated in Doritos!

Anyone else familiar with the STAR WRECK line of #StarTrek spoof books?

I found them in the 90s, and have loved them ever since. They’re cheesy and tongue-in-cheeky, but I like them. I finished the first one earlier, and am currently reading book 2, “Attack of the Jargonites”.

With a little bit of practice, maybe Trump will be able to get his arms up all the way.

17 years ago I married the 6 foot 1 woman of my dreams. We’ve shared five children, countless pets, worked endless jobs, and made a home. Even if we were together for the next 1000 years, I wouldn’t be tired of the love of my life. Happy Anniversary!

On November 12, 1955, a terrible thunderstorm ravaged Hill Valley, California. At 10:04 pm, it will be exactly 70 years since time stood still. #BTTF
