More than anything else, I'd like Kris to be happy. More than anything else, I fear that's something I can't provide. It's not that I'm unwilling to commit. It's a lot when I met them recently, but I do love them. To me, they're my world. But I'm worried such commitment will hurt them. I've already hurt them with selfish wishes. They won't say so, they'll blame themself, but that's a testament to how kind they are, not to how actually responsible they are. I started our problems. Even beyond that, I'm a Darkner. I can't give them the same fulfillment a Lightner partner would. I can be as sweet as possible, but it's just that sweetness without substance. And if none of that was an issue... I'm not ready. I don't know how to be a good friend yet. Should they be stuck with that? I think, someday, I would want it. But by that time, if it was possible... They would have, and should have, moved on.
