No one thinks it'll happen to them.
From the HBO show Chernobyl, Boris speaking about how no one thinks it will happen to them. Dialogue edited for recent events. In the top image, Boris says "The Jews, Poles, they all died when the Nazis came. And people came to live here anyway. They knew the ground they lived on was soaked in blood."
