I mean, capitalism isn't the only reason hybrid crops are developed. Sometimes the "heritage" one kept dying or not producing enough yield to stave off starvation. Love me some GMOs!

I guess the actual point is that there are some guidelines for helping you guess whether something will hit a nerve, but they're extremely subjective so at the end of the day it's not unethical to just...keep on doing what your doing.

Honestly my only personal lines are 9/11 and the Challenger disaster because both of them were watched in real-time by a staggering % of the population. The trauma is universal in a way that sat, the JFK assassination isn't. Of course tons of people will use humor to process and these traumas.

3. Were all the victims rich fucking shit heads who huberis'd themselves into it? Titan: Yes (fair. game.) EF: no
4. Are they generational traumas? EF: not really (again, showing up in the "fair game" category", 9/11: yes (see point 2, as well, though I guess the US gets to tone-set this time.)

2. Is it intentional? Edmund Fitzgerald: no (note this is a counter point to #1), Hiroshima/ Nagasaki: yes (though your point of how the Japanese relate to this is thought provoking. Seems fair they should get to set the tone on these)

Here are my lines, for reference, I promise I don't think they are the *right* lines. Just examples, since you kinda asked.
1. Are victims or victims children still alive? Great Chicago Fire: no, Edmund Fitzgerald: yes. I'm 40, my Dad is 71. He could have been in school with someone on EF.

Looks great! Visually it reminds me of a game called Kodama. Also has a build-up with connecting cards mechanic.

The worst is when it's a medicine that could kill you or give you seizures if you take too much. Then you pretty much have to say "well,I guess today is gonna suck. We'll try again tomorrow..."

Looks beautiful! What platform are you playing this on? It's it also a irl boardgame?

The lesson of Reagan is not, "pick a conservative Californian with slicked back hair and a sense of humor who can build a coalition with the worst people imaginable."

How are people supposed to work with a person who's against trans healthcare?
We don't want a perfect candidate motherfucker. We want someone who doesn't throw minorities under the bus.

The attitude that got us here was centrists deciding they were the only ones worthy while they ignored their voter base. Tonight showed that people don't want another Cuomo, we need to put our best foot forward already and give voters a politician they can be excited for if we want to beat maga.
