Over a week in this facility, today marks 3 weeks that I've been away from home. I get my chemo port on Tuesday, and I FINALLY start chemo on Wednesday. Don't know when I'll be able to go home, I'm making slow progress with my swollen legs, and my labs are coming back good. I miss my family & bed

Massive amount of stomach pain this afternoon. Tried a hot pack, and it did nothing. Ended up getting a muscle relaxer and my sucralfate with my percoset, so I'm nice and high and about to take a power nap.

Today was a busy day for me. My sibling came to spend a few hours with me before work, got to see Jazzy (my nail girlie) who helped me take off my set that's been on over 2 months, had a productive session with physical therapy, and then my hubby came to bring me things and see me. It was so nice 🫶🏻

Port placement got postponed due to high heart rate. I'll have to do it at an actual hospital. Got to see my husband and mom in law bc they stopped by which was the best. Waiting on my ride to go back to the nursing facility.

I need to get prepared for me dying. My anemia in tandem with my stage 4 gastric cancer means I no longer can be a surgical candidate, and the chemotherapy will maybe help shrink the cancer but will put me at a higher chance for internal bleeding. Just numb and trying to get through it.
