I know some games already made their way into museums, whether it was games made by artists for the museums, and the first example I can show you all is this : "Episode O : the leap of faith of Hassan Al Wazzan, also known as Leo Africanus" by artist Mounir Ayache

His work immerses us in the initiatory journey of Hassan al-Wazzan (c. 1494-c. 1555), who took the name Johannes Leo de Medicis under Pope Leo X and was known as "Leo Africanus", He is famous for authoring Cosmographia de Affrica (1526), an authoritative treatise that nourished Europeans' imagination. In the 16th century, during the sack of Rome, the ambassador and great Maghrebi geographer discovers a spacetime door that teleports him to the 26th century. The installation is a temporal tunnel linking past-present-future, building bridges between realities and fictions. Ayache thus mu.itoe uie to rodofine the ecientist-explorer and a new. 3 screens in a museums, the center has bright and luminous blue colors that fade away in the dark. In front of the screens, a visitor is playing the game with a retro black joystick Same picture than the other but the screens show something slightly different but still blue and dark The 3 prints and 3d prints. The prints are curved and they show pictures of Sci fi landscape but with an orientalist art direction, with orange, light blue colors for the first ones, and the last one is more dark. The 3D prints looks like some sorts of aliens or some troglodytes creatures, they are white with some gold emphasis

I heard this week about the passing of Viktor Antonov in the gaming industry.I never had the chance to know the man, but those of you who knows me personally are aware of my personal interest for architecture and its cultural and social aspects, as well as my deep passion and nostalgia for this game
