Like imagine being the owner and thinking you want someone to own their facility like your family does and then treating them that way.

It’s not that people don’t want to work—it’s that they want to have something to show for it AND have any time to enjoy it.

This was a private family-owned company in NY. The salary was at the range of supervisor (below manager) in the area.

There is absolutely no question in my mind now why food safety in US has gone downhill.

No OT and responsible for mfg line troubleshooting, safety, root cause, and external quality relations, internal training and quality initiatives and anything else they could tack on.
