Another way to limit burnout is to be intentional about who you follow on here.

Don't be so quick to follow all the same accounts you followed on Twitter.

Pay attention to how you feel when scrolling your feed.

If you feel outraged, scared and powerless most of the time, maybe unfollow some folks

Novelty exhaustion is a byproduct and in the case of misinformation a goal for autocratic information states like social media, giants of the kind that now are smashed within our government. Because we are unable to cope with the large amount of data we constantly consume
