Art is subjective so I understand why not everyone liked Kendrick’s performance or could not digest the layered messages and symbolism.
I thought it was a great piece of art and cohesive in its storytelling, but it wasn’t for everybody and I don’t think it was intended to be.

As an introvert, I am internally screaming whenever I’m in relaxation/recharge mode for the day and someone won’t stop talking to me.

Not at all. The only people that ever really called me pretty were family members. I grew up in an area that wasn’t diverse and I did not meet any of the standards of beauty.

I don’t think you need perfect grammar on social media or in texts, but I feel like some people just blatantly ignore autocorrect/spell check.
They text in a language only they seem to be able to understand and I’m like what are you trying to say?! 😭

Elective eye surgery to change your eye color will forever be crazy to me. I’m not against people getting plastic surgery if that’s what they want, but why would you voluntarily mess with your eyes?

I prefer a nice bar over a club any day. I barely liked clubbing in my 20s, and now in my 30s I need a guaranteed place to sit and music playing at a lower volume so I don’t have to shout when I talk. True auntie vibes lol.

Thanksgiving isn’t exciting when you don’t eat meat. I was told earlier today that when I show up at my cousin’s house next week I need to bring my own food 😭
