I'm in the middle of a lifequake right now, let's see if and how I get through it. Having grown up overly sheltered, I fear that I lack resilience.. or simply the desire to fight, when I'm going to die anyway. And becoming old and fragile/senile in a collapsing ecosystem- not a nice outlook.

But a tree isn't limited to how it is useful to humans. Every tree is a home for wildlife, a warrior against climate change, a healer of the earth, a survivor of epochs, a story protector, a kind aunt and uncle, and a food bank for dozens of species in difficult times.

Thanks so much for your kind words! It always makes me feel a bit better to come across the few like-minded people (or maybe there are more, but they prefer to hide?). Life’s a bit upside down for me right now, so I’m only managing the basics, otherwise I’d love to post more often.
