It's sickening and blasphemous, especially when you think about Suarez's relationship with Lodeiro and that the Sounders probably tried to sign Suarez at some point meaning they knew each other before this evening.

I just read the wiki page for it. I'm sure it was a controversial decision back then, so there might be some spicy newspaper articles if anyone wanted to do a deep dive on the exact date it closed to cars.
