I remember not being a fan, but honestly, I've gotten through the first 3 episodes, and it is amazing how badly it fails at comedy or trying to be funny, and yet the serious moments are actually fantastic. It's also shockingly good at horror.

YEAH, this is also my exact opinion on Daft Punk (and Half Life 1). I can see how they'd be revolutionary at the time, but nowadays, they've been surpassed several times over.

Despite that, they still hold up as pretty average, which I suppose is better than aging poorly.
