Or maybe American engagement with the new Syrian state should emphasize the issue of human rights? That one has been a thing in US foreign policy for a long time. But this al Qaeda rhetoric is just lazy bs. it's about your beef the orange buffoon, not about Syrians.

I'm far from being a Levant bro and even I can think of half dozen ways of actually standing with the Syrian people. Their interests as a nation is urgently threatened by "our greatest ally". Maybe the orange buffoon can do something about that? Or maybe American engagement with the new Syrian

Arab can be Christian you moron :)))

That was just some lazy moralizing and a link to an outdated intelligence briefing. Ironically, the briefing you cited recommends consulting a more recent report from 2023 confirming everything I said. If you care about the people of Syria (which you don't, and that's OK), please, be serious.

these dumfuks seem particularly butthurt that the Muslim Brotherhood axis to which HTS belonged was able to kick the Shiite axis (Assad regime) out of Levant. It's probably their compulsion to oppose their government, but it's kinda absurd. Of course they always have to moralize ergo "al qaeda" lol

There is no evidence that hts was affiliated with al qaeda. if anything, they were rivals who fought each other bitterly.
al nusra was al qaeda affiliated before becoming a splinter group that joined other syrian factions to form hts.

I suspect it's on the lower end of that range too. This is a guesstimate based on comparing high quality engagement rate on identical posts on X vs bsky.

Just be enlightened social democrats.
And drop that "democratic socialism" bullshit too. You are not socialists. Your agenda is nothing more than basic welfare state reforms. Stop the larp.
November 10, 2025 at 4:05 PM
I don’t think he really cared or was convinced about welfare state policies. He was no progressive.

To be fair, Obama didn't have much of an agenda. Biden did. Biden lost the political battle but in terms of policy all Democrats will be Bidenists without even knowing it for the foreseeable future.
