#14 Slay the Princess
definitely one of my favorite smaller experiences I've gotten to check out in the past couple years. art is an absolute treat to look at, writing is genuinely amazing, and the music compliments every moment so well

I first played way back in 2016 while it was still in open beta, and loved it back then. same still applies now, I got so hooked that within just a couple weeks I'm at dreamland and have all 6 gag tracks. it's free to play with no mtx, so like, go try it lol

continuing the landfall games train, this genuinely feels like something SEGA could do for a sonic game and I would eat it up if they did. the speed feels intoxicating and the game just generally feels really smooth to control given said speed

this is like a total brain off game for me, just find a path and climb. Works fantastically with friends, the teamwork mechanics and mindlessly climbing with friends makes for a wonderful experience. One of the only games I've tried to 100% so let that speak for me lol

did a replay before going back into eternal, still as much fun as I remember. unfortunately very rough around the edges (SO many background objects got me stuck or even softlocked into death) but I'd say it still holds up well enough

superbosses were fantastic this time around, especially loved how creative chapter 4's was with the battle mechanics, and chapter 3's for the much welcomed difficulty spike. everything else is like a straight improvement over the previous 2 chapters. it's cinema, folks

never really found myself as much of a 4X kind of person until I picked up UFO 50. Been playing this a bit with friends, and it's been lots of fun despite the desyncing issues. RTS mixed with 4X is such a fun combination and makes the game feel very satisfying to play

legitimately struggling to recap my general thoughts in the character limit because I have too many. bottom line is, best story I have experienced ever, like wow, very fun combat system, and a party to rival the scions of the seventh dawn

Performance issues aside, holy hell what a game. The new weapon movesets, creative monsters, and returns of a couple of my old favorite fights, all blend together to make a game equally as addicting as 4U and Rise were to me in past years. I'm afraid it's peam,,,

I hadn't played mongy for nearly 4 years and god did I miss playing this game lol. Even after all this time, it's still my favorite social deduction game, and with the newish "Town of Us" mod, there's loads of new roles to make everything fresh again!

continuing this with #5, Minecraft!
I really don't have a lot to say here, I play a new server once every few months, this time I learned how to use create and wow, what a mod. Also messed with CPM a bit, so I guess there's that too :3

I actually came back to this after getting very put off by iceborne back in early 2024. Coming back now with knowledge of the clutch claw holy fuck was I wrong in hating this game. The combat is still rather slow compared to 4u but god does it feel so amazing to play

originally my GOTY pick for last year until I picked up beastieball. still one of the best games in the last decade hands down, every game bangs, every concept is wholly unique, and the extra cherry objectives have kept me coming back for hours. please play this game >w<

going in, I didn't expect too much from this but damn does it deliver. gameplay that feels as much, if not more fun than the original overwatch, and with a really fun twist given the context of marvel superheroes. expect to likely see this one next year lol

honest to god contender for my favorite game with FFXIV, I have so much to say about this game I might as well make a youtube video lmao. extremely innovative gameplay systems, team building is a blast, and there's so much depth to a rather simple battle system on the surface
