I had married again so I felt it would be odd to have ex name and not current. But I never imagined it would disenfranchise me. Working on getting a passport now instead. And a true id. Nothing will stop me from voting. I haven’t been my maiden name since early 80s.

When I first married in the 80s not many women kept their name except for their own professional identity. When I married again it would have been weird to keep my first husband’s name. I married again, same. Now I’m about to retire but I may have to go back to a name from the 70s.

I’m haven’t done that yet because our DMV offices half are shut forever and you have to make an appointment and you still may not be seen.

I’ve been married 3 times and I’m should only need the last marriage certificate as it shows all the names. If I can’t vote I’ll move away.
