Welcome to my new venture! I now own 9 yak heifer calves from a well-known breeder of foundation stock. They will become the basis of my own breeding herd. The calves will stay with the breeder through spring for weaning, vaccinations, etc. I just need a bull now!

Happy World Wildlife Day! We encountered this bighorn ram in Glacier National Park, Montana, this past summer. He blocked the trail for 20 minutes before moving up this ledge for a drink.

We picked up 131 bales over by the Swan Mountain Range. Three young Angus steers watched to make sure that we left plenty for them. Back at our place, the horses supervised the unloading. Hoping this load gets us through to spring pastures!
