Mother’s Day liquids!

Got these gorgeous flowers from a neighbor. They were overflowing onto the sidewalk so he clipped a few and gave to us. So beautiful!

Me and toddler made a chocolate cake! Working our way through the cookbook. I think this is my first time making a cake and frosting from scratch. The cake was fantastic but I wish I had milk chocolate chips for the frosting. Toddler had a ton of fun! 🍽️

I can’t tell if I like it or if it’s the ugliest shirt ever. But I made it! Therefore I love it 🥰

Made corn muffins for the first time yesterday with the toddler 🥰 They turned out ok, not sweet enough for my taste 🍽️

I made a tote bag!

Made confetti cream scones with my toddler! The sprinkles were her idea, brilliant. These are the first scones I’ve ever liked outside of the UK. They were so good

Decided to bake our way through the kids cookbook I bought for my daughter and I. Tonight, we made mini tea cakes and she insisted on filling up the pan even though we ran out of batter lol

My first pizza went ok! Had to buy the crust but made the sauce and the Impossible burger. Hubby loved it! He’s so easy to cook for lol

We made them and they were SO good! Soft, buttery, rich. They pulled apart, hard to see the individual biscuits from the photo. Just delicious 😇 🍽️

It was the perfect way to celebrate ten years of marriage and he did an incredible job in planning this trip. Felt like a truly lucky lady.

Baby girl and I made blueberry breakfast cake today, first baking of the new year! Turned out amazing, would love to see if I can turn the recipe into muffins :) 🍽️

They turned out SO much better. Because of the short bake time they weren’t as brown as I’d like them to be but they were so much more moist. Also didn’t have blueberries so adding some raspberry jam :) Still room for improvement, but we’re making progress!

Took a pause on bread making and made blueberry and raspberry jam muffins with my toddler! She cracked all five eggs with minimal shells, stirred, and poured. Had tons of fun. Used my first NYT Cooking recipe in awhile, they taste phenomenal! #foodsky #baking
