otherwise, everything is just kinda slammed into one big script.rpy file, in much the way you'd expect. (and yeah, that part where the bg shifts red I just did by having two different backgrounds. same with the blur when she runs in the casino)

I think this animation looks.... okay. if I had more time I would've messed with it a lot more to make it bouncier and snappier (she should be bouncing and moaning on it! and by it I mean. haha. the stage) but, I never had the time to touch it up

this is the code for ludmilla's entry in her show scene, which is one of the first scenes I made. (before the script was finished, actually). I just used this transform with a Pause transition timed to it. I think making this itself a transition with its own internal timing is probably more correct,

as such, my image and character declarations look like this -- for some reason naming my images with @2 was breaking things, so I ended up manually tagging oversample on everything. it breaking was probably my fault. the code still has the trio named as "mc", "idol", and "bodyguard"

that was something I really wanted so that people could look at the illustration I did. editing renpy's hideInterface to hide extra things was definitely possible but seemed like it would be a decent amount of work, so I ended up just plopping it in the say screen like this. it worked, so,

for ui stuff, I mostly just doodled what I thought was fancy-looking... I wanted to give it a red velvet + gold filigree type of vibe. originally I made an even more detailed version of it, but the extra detail just didn't read well in-game. here's also some closeups of final ui

here's the full sprite sheets I made. I calculated the size for them by putting placeholder art in the game, using zoom transform to make them the size I wanted, and then calculating what size would make that 1x. (and then multiplying by 2, because I always work at 2x for final product stuff,)

this eleanor sprite was the first thing I rendered and as such I think got the most care and detail, aha. I wish I'd been able to do them all like this, but, I don't think the final product is worse for it. zooming in so you can see her eye color better (grey with flecks of blue and yellow)

for ludmilla's design I was trying to fuse military lolita with slutty casino bunny, and I think I did an okay job at that... these photos aren't the exact outfits I referenced for her, but the top half of her outfit was inspired by this sort of thing! (photos from lolitawardrobe)

really I just liked the initial sketches enough that I just cleaned them up and use them for sprites.
Eleanor initially was a very minor character, and had a very fast design. but as I worked on the script I realized I wanted her to be much more of a full character, so I gave her this design...!

I'll start with art, since that's what I know and it's relatively straightforward. these were actually the first drawings I did, though, you see them edited and cleaned up a lot here (selica started without glasses and with a normal bag instead of a plushie bag)
