Yes, I've had that happen. For me It was due to extreme overwork and stress. I remember those headaches still, they were continuous. Constant. I also had strange side effects, like aural and visual hallucinations. And it took both a long break and a change in lifestyle to finally deal with them.

If it's not your thing, that's fine. You've got a great style, and if folks are expressing an interest in seeing their characters in your style that's just what they'd like to commission. Given an opportunity heck I'd also ask. But, please, respectfully I ask - don't yuck their yum.
