No one has an unconditional right to enter another country. But I’m not surprised the US customs officers are now acting this way given “everything else” happening on immigration there. They aren’t our buddies anymore.

I heard on the news this weekend that cranes in France are dying due to bird flu. Is it as bad as was reported in the Canadian media? I’ve always loved seeing the cranes there.

Universities and colleges have lost $3B+ and over 11,000 jobs in the past year. Defend us too please. In any other sector, your govt would be screaming from the rooftops about such losses.

I think we are struggling with an equity issue. Shouldn’t we similarly support any students displaced by wars, not just Ukrainian students? What about students from Syria, Sudan, Myanmar, and other places?
